Q: How do I choose the right contract – 6, 24 or 36 months?

The right fixed-term electricity contract depends on your needs. Choose the contract length based on how long you want the stability of a fixed price, which length and price suites you the best, and how often you'd like to compare prices. 6-month contract : A short and flexible option if you want a fixed price without long-term commitment. Ideal for those looking to lock in their price for the winter, need electricity for a summer house, or simply prefer a shorter term. Q: Can I get an ecological fixed-price electricity contract?

Of course! All of our electricity contracts can include ecological electricity. Just choose your preferred ecological option when placing your order. You can also add it later through our customer service. Renewable wind power : Make a climate-friendly choice for just 3,99 €/month – your electricity will be produced using 100% renewable wind power, verified with guarantees of origin. Fossil-free : Make a climate-friendly choice for just 1,99 €/month – your electricity will be produced 100% fossil free using solar, wind, hydro, and nuclear power, verified with guarantees of origin.

Q: What if I move during my contract period?

A fixed-term electricity contract is binding for both you and us in most situations. However, there’s one exception: moving. Electricity contracts are always tied to a specific address, so if you move, you’ll need to terminate your current contract. For your new home, you’re free to choose any new electricity contract. Don’t forget to terminate, otherwise, you might end up paying for the next resident’s electricity by mistake! We recommend ordering a new electricity contract about 5 days before your move. If things get hectic and you forget, just give our customer service a call. You’ll find contact details and service hours here.

Q: Can I terminate a fixed-term contract?

Unfortunately, a fixed-term electricity contract can't be cancelled just anytime. The fixed term is binding for both you and us. There is one exception: moving. If you move, your electricity contract is always cancelled. That means you can confidently choose a fixed-term contract for even a longer period, no worries if your living situation might change.
